Arduino Engineering Kit for engineering, IoT and robotics
The first product coming from the partnership, the Arduino Engineering Kit consists of three Arduino-based projects that will teach students about electronics and develop their engineering skills in preparation for the jobs market.
The project is intended to follow on from the Arduino CTC 101 program for upper secondary schools. The Arduino Engineering Kit incorporates core engineering concepts into Arduino projects, using industry-standard tools for algorithm development, system modelling and simulation.
Inside the box is an Arduino MKR1000 board, customised parts and the electrical and mechanical components for the three projects – a self-balancing motorcycle, a mobile rover and a whiteboard drawing robot.
The kit also gives the student access to an e-learning platform and other learning materials, as well as a one-year individual license for MATLAB and Simulink.
