Shiratech’s iCOMOX open platform uses Analog Devices’ technologies for sensing, ultra-low-power signal processing, communication and power management. The platform has fully integrated vibration, magnetic field, temperature and audio sensors. It is intended to provide early detection of machine failures in condition-based-monitoring (CBM) applications. The boxes are small and battery-powered with IP66 rated protection, CE and FCC certification and are ready to mount with a selection of optional adapter plates. They are also provided with user-configurable CBM software embedded. The iCOMOX Data Acquisition Kit and developers’ software kit (SDK) assist in the quick development of intelligent condition-monitoring solutions.

The iCOMOX NB-IoT box has an LTE-M/NB-IoT/EGPRS modem for low-power, cellular, wide-area (LPWA) connectivity, enabled by Arkessa. The iCOMOX PoE variation provides a 10/100Base-TX Ethernet port for Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity. iCOMOX PoE offers a wider frequency response range from dc to 11 kHz, compared to the battery-powered SmartMeshIP and NB-IoT models with 1.5kHz bandwidth for vibration analysis.
