The distribution agreement will be worldwide and focused on Taoglas’ AI and IoT products and services. Arrow’s sales and services organization will allow Taoglas to expand its customer base, grow ecosystem partnerships, and improve supply chain services.

“Our customers need both products and services to support the success of IoT projects. Taoglas’ portfolio of high-performance RF antennas and IoT solutions is a fantastic addition to Arrow’s broad product and services portfolio,” said Aiden Mitchell, vice president and general manager of global IoT solutions for Arrow Electronics. “Our customers will benefit from Taoglas’ reputation as a best-in-class, performance-driven technology provider.”

Arrow customers can now purchase Taoglas’ EDGE portfolio of IoT solutions and the company’s new CROWD Insights platform. The global distribution agreement will also offer streamlined access to Taoglas’ portfolio of antenna and RF design offerings.

The Taoglas EDGE Locate is a low-power IoT hardware platform that provides cm-level positioning to applications in an off-the-shelf, compact form factor. EDGE Locate integrates a GNSS L1/L2/E5 antenna, RF electronics and receiver technology to deliver reliable, high accuracy positioning. Taoglas’ portfolio allows customers to quickly build IoT devices with cm-level positioning technology, without having to invest in RF design, integration and testing processes.

Taoglas CROWD Insights is a people movement analytics platform that uses existing Wi-Fi infrastructure to measure, monitor and predict the numbers, flows and dwell times of people in public areas.

“We are delighted to establish our partnership with Arrow, a leading solutions provider with one of the world’s largest technology ecosystems,” said Dermot O’Shea, co-CEO of Taoglas. “By working with Arrow, we can offer even more unrivalled engineering, sales and customer support globally. As the IoT ecosystem continues to mature and grow, the opportunities for projects that need to be designed, built, deployed, and managed increases exponentially. It also means that providers with the quickest and most effective execution capabilities will offer the most value to the end customer.”
