Arrow Electronics to distribute Elo Touch Solutions portfolio in EMEA
The new line will be the responsibility of Arrow’s OEM Computing Solutions business that specialises in system-level solutions. Elo Touch Solutions, a portfolio company of The Gores Group, designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of touch-enabled user interfaces including touch monitors, touch computers, interactive digital signage and customised solutions. Its products are based on touch technologies, such as surface acoustic wave, projected capacitive, and five-wire resistive, which find uses in retail, medical, transportation and, increasingly, industrial applications. Arrow brings design engineering, global manufacturing, supply-chain management and logistics services together under one roof. Its expertise and partnerships with industry-leading suppliers of computing platforms, memory and storage, application and operating system software and displays enable Arrow to support OEMs throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
