Automotive data logger has voice control
Besides the audio input, the IPElog2 comes with 18 bus and measurement I/O lines and a new USB3.0 interface for fast configuration updates and data downloads. The new data logger is available in two versions. The standard version offers ten CAN input channels, with four of them being selectable between CAN High-speed and CAN Low Speed / fault tolerant. In addition, this version has six LIN bus interfaces supporting LIN standard versions 1.3 and 2.0. The second version comes without the LIN interfaces. All CAN interfaces support the WakeOnCan and NoMessageLost functions. After the WakeOnCan function has woken the data logger, the latter boots up from standby mode and switches to measurement mode.
The data logger is driven by a 1.33 GHz Atom E3805 dual-core microprocessor. It has 2 GByte of RAM and runs its Testdrive measurement software under the RTOS-32 real-time operating system.
