Automotive-grade high-current inductor offers high-temperature benefits
Offered in the 2525 case size with a low profile of 3.0 mm, the Vishay Dale IHLP-2525CZ-8A provides a wide range of inductance values from 0.47 to 22 microhenries.
With a frequency range up to 1 MHz, the AEC-Q200-qualified device serves as a high-performing, space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator modules (VRM) and DC/DC converters in high-temperature automotive applications. End products include HID and LED lighting, engine and transmission control units, diesel injection drivers, entertainment and navigation systems, noise suppression for motors, windshield wipers, heating and ventilation blowers, and power seats and mirrors.
The IHLP-2525CZ-8A handles high transient current spikes without hard saturation. Packaged in a 100% lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels, the device is specified for an operating temperature range of -55 degrees C to +180 degrees C, with high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. The inductor is RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay Green.
Samples and production quantities of the new inductor are available now, with lead times of 10 weeks for large orders.
