Qualified according to the AEC-Q200 specification of the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) for passive components, the TCQ series passes the most demanding tests at 125°C and the moisture resistance test for up to 1,000 hours at 85°C and 85% relative humidity. The operating temperature is in the range -55°C to +125°C. The capacitors of this series offer a conductive polymer electrode and have an uncritical error mode when used under the recommended conditions. They are suitable for lead-free soldering and comply with the RoHS directive.

Currently, the TCQ series is available in three different housing sizes: 1210 (EIA metric 3528-21), 2917 (EIA metric 7343-31) and 2917 (EIA metric 7343-20). The complete voltage range of the series covers 4V to 50V, the capacity is between 10μF and 220μF with a tolerance of ±20%. They can be operated at up to 90% of nominal voltage.
