Aimed at “revolutionizing” the transport and real estate industry, the Multipurpose Autonomous Platform (MAP} can be adjusted in size to suit a specific task, such as being a vehicle for passengers, a transport for cargo, or a temporary residence for travelers. The dimensions of a MAP with a 15-foot container home is 6,670 mm (21.88 foot) long, 2,600 mm (8.53 foot) wide, and 3,540 mm (11.61 foot) tall.

The primary goal of MAP is to make static structures mobile, thereby expanding their functionality. Designed to be compatible with standard shipping containers, MAP integrated shipping containers are, says the company, self-driving spaces with limitless customization.

Interior variations of MAP driven containers include shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels, and offices. The exterior can also be modified for purpose. For example, the roof can be upgraded with solar panels to provide utility and recharge the vehicle batteries.

With the integration of MAP, says the company, parking garages can easily convert into mobile high rises – fulfilling the company’s mission of using vehicle technology to provide convenience, save resources, and transform communities into efficient infrastructures.

“Our company is built on the principle of making a positive impact in our society through transportation,” says Edward Lee, CEO, Neuron EV. “Neuron EV leads with a distinctive vision.”

This technology, says the company, is integral to building the next generation ecosystem that realizes the vision of smart cities, and a new paradigm of transportation that aims to usher in the future of smart travel.

MAP is the underlying power structure used in a Neuron HUB electric vehicle, an “intuitive” transportation system the company announced in May. HUB is essentially the combined unit of an upper structure mounted onto MAP.

The company says it is currently developing new energy vehicles with plans for an unveiling in the fourth quarter of 2019.
