AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform release R17-10 brings new features

Communications is improved by adding time synchronisation across all ECUs, ISO 13400/ ISO 14229 diagnostics support and machine state handling. The new release will also improve safety and security features at the conceptual level.
One of the major new features of the release is RESTful Web Services support for distributed systems. This will allow a unified interface that will enable requesting systems to access and manipulate text representations of web resources using predefined operations.
Execution management also gets a makeover with resource management features, a recovery action framework and machine state handling. ISO 13400/ ISO 14229 implementation will also allow IP and CAN-based diagnostics.
