Baselabs GmbH has signed a partnership agreement with Dutch company Tass International. The move enables Tass to use Baselabs’ probabilistic sensor simulation models with its Prescan simulation platform which is widely used in the industry. The Prescan software simulates the behaviour of vehicle sensors in complex traffic scenarios and is used both for the creation of control algorithms and for the development of sensor concepts for assisted and automated driving. Baselabs will enhance the Prescan sensor portfolio with its probabilistic sensor models. These models stand out with their high level of realism while maintaining flexibility and adaptability of simulation-based validation strategies. PreScan can be used in a rather wide range of development scnarios – from model-based controller design (MIL) to real-time tests with software-in-the-loop (SIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems or a driver-in-the-loop (DIL).
