BeammWave has announced that it will be granted a contribution from EU Horizon via a joint security project. The project title is “Resilient Trust — Trusted SMEs for Sustainable Growth of Europeans Economical Backbone to Strengthen the Digital Sovereignty” and consists of totally 29 European partners. The total grant is 5,5 MEUR, of which BeammWave will receive 300 KEUR — which is approximately 3,5 MSEK.
RESILIENT TRUST focuses on end-to-end security of processing chains — with a focus on strong exploitation for SMEs. This vision will be realized by developing specialized hardware, to establish TRUST in-between a network and a wall of RESILIENCE, even against new attack methods such as post quantum attacks and AI based attacks.
The project will run over 36 months and is coordinated by Université Gustave Eiffel in France. The total project cost is approximately 17 Million Euro. The grant awarded from the EU is 5,5 Million Euro, of which BeammWave will receive 297 394 Euro, approximately 3,5 MSEK.
“This European project brings tremendous value to Europe in securing know-how for systems resilient against malicious and untrusted hardware, says Stefan Svedberg, CEO of BeammWave.
“The project enables BeammWave to work together with our European project partners, which will give us the opportunity to investigate solutions for end-to-end security by boosting RESILIENCE and TRUST along with different key supply chains, that can be implemented in BeammWave’s technology”, says Markus Törmänen, co-founder and Board member of BeammWave.
