Bridgetek technology enables Arduino display project

The Sunflower Shield uses the highly integrated FT813 EVE graphics controller IC to add a touch-enabled 3.5″ (QVGA) TFT LCD display to Arduino projects.

The shield can render 24-bit colour content in landscape or portrait orientations and supports 60fps animations. The compact board has a 5-point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, a PWM controlled audio amplifier with a 1W speaker, a thermocouple input (probe included), solid state relay outputs and a microSD memory card slot. Combining the EVE graphics controller with an MCU, such as the Arduino, creates a well partitioned design at an attractive price point.
