The initial release supports 28 of the most popular sensors manufactured by Keysight, Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz, and TEGAM.  The procedures simplify the complex task of correctly calibrating RF power sensors, giving faster results than the existing direct compare method with the lowest total uncertainty.

The procedures support Fluke Calibration MET/CAL Calibration Management Software, the calibration automation software platform which is continuing its expansion into RF applications.

“We combined TEGAM’s deep RF calibration experience with our own specialists to extend the range of applications that MET/CAL can cover,” said Dave Postetter, business manager for Fluke Calibration Electrical Products. “In addition, we incorporated support for the new Fluke 96270A reference signal generator that can also be used to calibrate spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.”

The procedures are intended to operate on TEGAM’s PMX Series calibration system which incorporate the signal generators, network analyzers, microwave power standards, and other accessories for a turnkey system. Customers can choose systems configured with instruments from Keysight, Gigatronics, Fluke, Anritsu, and Rohde & Schwarz.
