The recording of the CAN traffic can be played back 1:1 to the connected CAN bus. It also can be written to a PC and converted for further use. Export formats are Peak’s proprietary trace format as well as that of Vector, and the CSV format. The latter is suitable for import into spreadsheets.
New devices are already shipped with the trace function. Existing customers can receive the current software package for the PCAN-Diag on request. It contains the new firmware, an updated and enhanced tool set, and the current documentation.
