The module has been developed in accordance with CC-Link V 2.0 and can alternatively be used as Remote I/O or remote device station. Thus compact field devices such as barcode readers can efficiently be integrated into a CC-Link network. The netICs delivered as compact DIL-32 modules are the easiest and fastest solution to upgrade simple field devices with slave communication functionality. The well-known Modbus-RTU protocol exchanges the I/O data over a serial interface with the host process. Alternatively netIC collects I/O data via external shift registers and exchanges automatically with the upper network.
