CCD scanner with OLED display and Ethernet connectivity
Housed in a rugged aluminium housing, the CCD scanner checks labels for completeness and correct quality of included information, and reads barcodes which are printed or laser etched directly onto glossy materials. At 530 scans per second and under red light, even barcodes with minimal contrast or poor printing quality can be detected. Scanned codes and the statuses of inputs and outputs can be viewed at a single glance in several languages at the OLED display, which also offers intuitive operation.
In addition to the graphic display, the CCD Scanner can be optionally configured with the help of a website which has been set up especially for this product. Worldwide access to the website is made possible by a web server which has been integrated into the CCD Scanner. This web access also enables remote maintenance. Thanks to a uniform supply voltage of 24 V and degree of protection IP67, the scanner can be used in harsh industrial environments and extreme temperatures from -20 to 50°C. The unit can be configured via an RS-232 serial port or an Ethernet interface, and can be integrated into existing infrastructures.
