CEVA licences Bluetooth LE IP to BlueX Microelectronics
The BX2400 is an ultra-low power SoC that incorporates Bluetooth, processor, power charge and discharge management, touch and heart rate monitor. The device is suited to designs for personal health and fitness wearables and has already gained traction with leading global manufacturers including Huami.
CEVA’s RivieraWaves Bluetooth IP consists of a hardware baseband controller, plus a software protocol stack. A flexible radio interface allows the platforms to be deployed with either RivieraWaves RF or partners’ RF IP, enabling optimal selection of foundry and process node. All Bluetooth 5 features are supported, including LE 2Mbps data rate, Long Range and LE Advertising Extension.
