The software accepts information from iBwave designer, Excel, and customer-supplied test criteria. The tool quickly and automatically processes the data to create comprehensive test plans that enable test sequencing, job progress tracking, trace judgement, and report generation. Also included in the latest SkyBridge Tools is a novel easyTest feature that allows a set of one-button instrument control scripts to be created from a test plan. Necessary tests as well as accurate instrument setups, limit lines, and required file names for the resulting traces are included in the script, dramatically reducing test time, miscommunications, and errors.
Reports can be generated in a variety of different formats to automate what has traditionally been a time-consuming process. Users can select PDFs, zipped files, or CSV format, with one row per test, to meet virtually any customer requirement.
Because it is an automated process, SkyBridge Tools is an advancement in improving the workflow of installing and commissioning DAS, which may require 1,000 to 15,000 traces, photos, and other deliverables to verify that the installation of a single system meets performance standards.
