Coaxial cables qualified to European Space Agency Standard 3902
The qualified cable assemblies are PhaseTrack® 110 and 210, SiO2™ 141 and 130, and SPFLT™ 130, 200 and 305.
These cable assemblies have met the most stringent requirements of ESA-3902 and have been determined to be suitable for use in the most hostile environments of space. Among other requirements, cables for use in space must pass severe shock, vibration and thermal shock testing while maintaining precise RF performance criteria.
PhaseTrack® cable assemblies are designed for applications demanding minimal phase change over temperature. All PhaseTrack® cables use Times’ proprietary TF4™ dielectric which eliminates the abrupt shift in phase that otherwise occurs at room temperature with a solid or tape wrapped PTFE dielectric. PhaseTrack® also employs our unique triple shielding technology.
SiO2™ Semi-Rigid cable assemblies provide formable phase stable performance using materials developed specifically for use in applications where repeatable phase performance is critical. In short, matched SiO2™ cable assemblies exhibit the best phase-tracking performance available.
