Collaboration creates an entry point for injection moulded and printed electronics

By eeNews Europe

The new agreement is intended to give designers an easy gateway into the printed electronics field and accelerate the development of next generation consumer devices. 3DEXPERIENCE users will be able to access TactoTek’s IMSE library of printed electronics that includes circuitry, touch controls and antennas. The IMSE solutions incorporate discrete components, such as LEDs, into 3D injection moulded structures. IMSE parts are thin, light and can be fully encapsulated for protection.

The agreement with Dassault will allow the use of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as a foundation for IMSE processes, which will enable the design, simulation, and testing of IMSE parts in a 3D environment.

TactoTek will join Dassault Systèmes’ booth #8300 in the North Hall, at CES 2018.
