Collaboration develops battery-free Electronic Paper Display

The new system can be operated and powered wirelessly at-a-distance in a dynamic environment. The technology will hopefully be ready for commercial use by the end of 2020.

The three companies think the new technology will promote the use of smart display solutions in IoT applications. It will reduce the number of wires in IoT solutions, while also removing the maintenance burden caused by battery use, leading to a longer device lifetime and greater functionality.
