The new voltage trackers supply external sensors and components of ECUs with power and enable very precise measurement value acquisition due to the industry’s lowest offset voltage of only ±5mV. A variety of integrated protective functions protect the engine control unit in the event of faults in the wiring harness, among other things, thereby improving safety during autonomous driving.

The S-19720 series is available in the industry’s smallest package, HSNT-6(2025) (1.96 X 2.46 X 0.5 mm), meeting the need for compact automotive components. Due to the low standby current of typically 4 μA, the S-19720 series is also ideally suited to significantly reduce the overall standby current requirement of a motor controller in intermittent operation. The input voltage can be up to 36V, and the component can even handle 45V at its peak. Due to this high dielectric strength, the chip can be connected directly to a 12V lead-acid battery.

In addition, the series complies with the PPAP standard (Production Part Acceptance Procedure) as well as the AEC-Q100 quality standard class 1.
