
Computing research conference heads to Manchester
The timing for the conference couldn’t be better, with the exposure of chip-level security flaws still in the news. The conference consists of three keynotes, 27 workshops, eight tutorials and 33 papers over the three days of the event. Everything from machine learning to securing safety-critical, real-time systems will be covered.
The keynote talks are from Maria Girone (CERN openlab) on computing challenges at the Large Hadron Collider, Dileep Bhandarkar (Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies) on emerging data centre trends and Dan Belov (DeepMind) on machine learning.
A GoingArm workshop will also be held at the conference on applications for the low-power Arm platform, including insights into the brain-inspired SpiNNaker machine and hands-on Arm demonstrations.
