Conexant duplicates Audio Technology Testing facility in Taiwan
The new facility allows Conexant to replicate the acoustic design, tuning and verification capabilities that are currently offered from its California headquarters, thereby enabling the company to provide localized support to better serve customers in Taiwan. The new testing facility eliminates the need to navigate time differences and physically ship systems between regions. The result is that OEMs benefit from reduced expenses and faster time-to-market.
By supporting best-in-class acoustical subsystem design and audio hardware/software system validation locally, Conexant is also helping Taiwan-based OEM teams to minimize certification lab expenses. Conexant’s new 1,500 square meter facility in Taiwan includes state-of-the-art anechoic and reverberant test chambers that are authority-certified to meet governing (ISO/ETSI) standards.
