The CoolX600 Series uses a patented modular resonant technology offers system designers best in class efficiency and reliability in addition to a comprehensive feature set and specifications. A five year warranty ensures quality, reliability and the lowest total cost of ownership.
The family is fully safety certified to IEC60601-1 3rd edition and IEC60601-1-2 4th Edition (EMC) for medical applications. Medical features include BF rating (Body Floating), dual fusing, 2 x MOPP, and <300uA leakage current. Other features include 4KV input surge immunity and the ability to withstand input voltages of up to 300VAC making it suitable for use in remote locations and those subject to input voltage disturbances.
Enhanced thermal performance comes from system fans or additional external conduction cooling. In addition to an industry leading efficiency of up to 94%, the CoolX600 provides the most flexible, highest specification modular power supply on the market. Additional features include a 24W standby poweroutputs (5V or 12V) offering effectively another output, for system intelligence, cooling fans, displays etc., 5000m altitude operation and optional PMBus communications.
The CoolX600 can be populated with up to 4 CoolMods, providing up to 4 isolated DC outputs ranging from 2.5V to 58.0V. Following the tradition of Excelsys, the CoolX600 offers customers flexibility and is completely user and field configurable. Outputs can be configured to the required set point voltages and connected in parallel of series for higher output current and/or higher output voltages.
It also offers system integrators more flexibility with analogue and digital management with PMBus monitoring and control capability and is user field configurable with Plug and Play power. Mounting options include base, side and Din Rail alternatives.
