The modular approach of the platform allows adapting it to the broad variety of mobile radio standards established in Europe, Brazil, China, Russia and the USA as well as in several other countries. Its "outer" air interface supports LTE, HSPA, EVDO, GSM and CDMA. Towards the inside of the vehicle the module offers a WiFi interface to connect tablets, smartphones or laptop computers to the mobile radio network. In addition it supports Bluetooth and USB. Through MOST, CAN, LIN and Ethernet interfaces, the vehicle’s internal control units can be tapped for vehicle-specific services such as automatic accident notification, remote diagnosis or premium travel services.

The telematics box contains measures just 35 x 40 mm and contains an RF chip and an ASIC along with RAM and Flash memory, whereas the Flash memory, the Wifi functionality and the satellite navigation can be configured according to the needs of the customer. Also the selection of the RF chip depends on the customer’s requirements.
