Conformance tester recognized by Bluetooth SIG
The Harmony LE Bluetooth tester is a robust conformance testing platform, focused on the Bluetooth low energy specification. It is an integrated software/hardware test platform for Bluetooth protocol qualification testing for LE link Layer and HCI for the Bluetooth 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 5 specifications.
Device conformance to the Bluetooth specification is mandatory to ensure enabled devices work correctly with other devices in the Bluetooth ecosystem. With the recognition of the Harmony LE Bluetooth conformance tester, a validated test system in TCRL 2017-2 for LE Link Layer and HCI tests, companies can efficiently prepare products for market, confident in conformance as outlined by the Bluetooth SIG.
“Global product interoperability is a cornerstone of Bluetooth technology, and the Bluetooth product qualification process is central to ensuring the interoperability of the nearly 4 billion new Bluetooth devices forecasted to ship in 2018,” said Marriot Winquist, Vice President of Member Development and Services at the Bluetooth SIG.
The Harmony LE Bluetooth tester works in tandem with the Sodera sideband Bluetooth protocol analyzer. The two combined provide the testing platform used to certify conformance with the LE Link Layer and HCI Bluetooth specifications.
