congatec appoints third CEO in three years
German board maker congatec has appointed Dominik Ressing as its third CEO in three years.
Ressing joins congatec from Avnet Embedded, where as vice president he oversaw the global embedded business of the company, including the organization formerly known as MSC, and has over 20 years of experience in the embedded computing industry.
He replaces Dirk Haft who replaced Jason Carlson in December 2021. The company was sold to a private equity firm in 2020.
One of his main objectives will be to further unlock the full potential of congatec’s solutions competence. The goal is to maximize the value of congatec group products and services for OEMs. The company has already centralised sales of the RTS real time software subsidiary.
In this new role, Dominik Ressing completes the top management team – with Daniel Jürgens as CFO and Konrad Garhammer as COO & CTO.

In addition to expanding the solutions portfolio, the management team aims to accelerate internationalization, further enhance supply chain reliability and efficiency, and drive growth in digitalization, AI, and vision-driven markets such as robotics, medical, industrial automation, and critical infrastructures.
