Connex AG in Oldenburg produces and develops high-quality connectors and cables for the professional event industry and demanding industrial applications. The product portfolio includes power distribution systems, fiber optic solutions, video products, ethernet components, splitters, patching systems, stage boxes, cabling and measuring devices.
As well as developing standard products, Connex develops individual solutions and provides consulting services and support in the implementation of projects.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The Neutrik Group makes audio, video, power, data, and circular connectors for audio visual (AV) applications under the Neutrik and Rean brands. The company employs around 1,000 people worldwide.
“We are very excited about the growth of our Group. Connex GmbH is going to enable us to expand our activities to further areas of application and to strengthen our leading position in the market”, said Chad Trevithick, CEO of the Neutrik Group.
