Constant current “boost” DC/DC LED drivers
Nine models operate from input ranges of 9 to 18 VDC, 9 to 36 VDC or 18 to 36 VDC and provide constant current outputs ranging from 0.10 to 0.90A at corresponding output voltage levels of 14 to 48 VDC. Standard features include 95% efficiency, overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, and an analog or PWM dimming control input. A remote ON/OFF control function is available for all models. The LDB24 series MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is 1.29 Mhours.
All models of the LDB24 family are packaged in a compact 1.03″x2.03″ case. They are specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of up to -40°C to +85°C ambient with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection. All models are available with wired leads instead of pins.
The LDB24 series provides the stable constant current output; analog and digital controls; output power; and output voltage range required to effectively power and control high brightness LEDs in a wide range of applications.
