Leading the way to the All Electric Society

By Messe München

With top exhibitors from over 50 countries, plenty of innovations and a top-class supporting program, electronica is the place to be for the electronics industry from 12 to 15 November 2024 – and has been for 60 years already.

What a great occasion to celebrate: for its 60th anniversary electronica 2024 is breaking all records. Together with SEMICON Europa, which takes place at the same time, it will occupy all 18 exhibition halls at Messe München. Expect the biggest electronica of all time, which will become the place-to-be for visionaries, inventors and trendsetters to shape the future together.

From A for automation to Z for zero emissions, electronica 2024 covers the entire spectrum of electronics. And the international appeal of the trade fair continues to grow: around 60 percent of exhibitors come from abroad.

Over 50 nations present their electronics innovations, paving the way for the All Electric Society – and turning Munich into a global innovation stage. From start-ups to tech giants, the who’s who of the industry will meet here. Many companies that took a break in 2022 are also back this time.

New hotspots provide extra buzz: the EMS Pavilion brings together manufacturing service providers, the Printed Electronics Pavilion showcases highly flexible technology, and the Sensor Technology Pavilion stimulates the exchange around sensor technology.

As an innovation powerhouse in the industry, we are focusing on a supporting program that leaves plenty of room for the exchange of expertise and ideas,” explains Caroline Pannier, Deputy Exhibition Director.  Sustainability, AI, e-mobility, smart energy, automation and connectivity will be in the spotlight: electronics is the turbo for a sustainable future.

At the CEO Roundtable, industry leaders such as Jochen Hanebeck (Infineon), Jean-Marc Chery (STMicroelectronics) and Kurt Sievers (NXP Semiconductors) discuss current trends and challenges. In the conferences, experts will delve deep into the world of automotive and wireless systems. And the relaunched forum program, located in the center of the exhibition areas, presents the Women in Tech Forum, fresh sessions on AI Machine Learning and the Embedded Platforms & Industrial Control Forum with a focus on mechanical engineering and automation, alongside tried-and-tested topics.

And the most important element on the road to an all-electric society? The next generation, in whom tomorrow’s future lies today. With career initiatives and the promotion of young talent, electronica 2024 is driving the future of the industry and actively tackling the shortage of skilled workers. This is where the tech talents of tomorrow are discovered and promoted.

Whether you are looking for the next big thing in electronics, want to polish up your network or simply want to feel the pulse of the industry – electronica 2024 is your ticket to the future. In the exciting and entertaining environment of the trade fair, anything is possible: from forging new partnerships and launching a great career to promising deals and setting the course for future technological leaps.

It’s just two months away: from November 12 to 15, 2024, Munich will become an international hotspot for electronics enthusiasts, visionaries and anyone who wants to play an active role in shaping the All Electric Society.
