Paving the way to the All Electric Society

By Messe München

electronica: The meeting place for the electronics industry will celebrate its 60th anniversary from November 12-15, 2024 where everything will be dedicated to the All Electric Society – with innovations, presentations and many other highlights.

Just in time for its anniversary, electronica 2024 is breaking all the records. Together with SEMICON Europa, which is taking place at the same time, the largest ever edition of the trade fair is at the ready with 18 packed exhibition halls. Visionaries, inventors and trendsetters will meet in Munich to shape the future together.

From the automotive sector to future technologies, electronica 2024 covers the entire spectrum of electronics. And the international appeal of the trade fair continues to grow: around 60 percent of exhibitors come from abroad, with impressive growth from the U.S., South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China.

More than 50 nations will be presenting their innovations in electronics, paving the way for the All Electric Society – and making Munich a global stage for innovation. From start-ups to tech giants – this is where the who’s who of the industry meet. Many companies that took a break in 2022 are now back on board.

New hotspots provide an extra buzz: the EMS Pavilion will bring together manufacturing service providers, the Printed Electronics Pavilion will show what flexible electronics are capable of, and the Sensor Technology Pavilion will stimulate exchange around sensors and actuators.

“As the industry’s innovation powerhouse, we rely on a supporting program that leaves plenty of room for exchanging expertise and ideas,” explains Caroline Pannier, Deputy Exhibition Director. Sustainability, AI, electric mobility, smart energy, automation and connectivity are in the spotlight, and all highlight one thing: Electronics is the turbocharger for a sustainable future.

At the CEO Roundtable, industry leaders such as Jochen Hanebeck (Infineon), Jean-Marc Chery (STMicroelectronics) and Kurt Sievers (NXP Semiconductors) will discuss trends and challenges. At the same time, experts at the conferences will delve deep into the worlds of automotive and wireless systems.

The forum program has been completely relaunched: In addition to tried-and-tested topics, you can now also expect sessions on AI machine learning and a Women in Tech forum. The electronica forums, located in the middle of the exhibition areas, cover practically every field of application. The Embedded Platforms Conference has become the Embedded Platforms & Industrial Control Forum – and is now even more strongly geared toward mechanical engineering and automation.

electronica is also thinking about the future of the industry: it is actively addressing the shortage of skilled workers with career initiatives and by promoting young talent. This is where the tech talents of tomorrow are discovered and promoted.

Whether you are looking for the next big thing in electronics, want to perfect your network or simply want to feel the pulse of the industry – electronica 2024 is your ticket to the future. This is where partnerships are forged, careers are launched, deals are sealed and the course is set for future technological leaps.

So, set the date in your calendar: from November 12 to 15, 2024, Munich will become an international hotspot – for electronics enthusiasts, visionaries and anyone who wants to play an active role in shaping the All Electric Society. Find more good reasons to visit electronica on our website.
