To all innovators in Europe requiring Custom Semiconductors
As Semiconductor development grows increasingly complex, partners are expected not only to carry out tasks, but to engage in real collaboration. TOPPAN Technical Design Center Inc. (TDC) is precisely that devoted partner.
With over 52 years of ASIC development experience in Japan, we provide Semiconductor chip Turnkey solutions and design services based on your specifications. TDC is fully equipped with a system to support you throughout the entire process, from the earliest development stage of specification verification (feasibility study) through to mass production. Leveraging our deep history and expertise in Analog and Digital/mixed-signal design technologies, we deliver stable, high-quality Silicon solutions that meet your unique requirements.
Proven track record and global trust
TDC has been entrusted with ASIC design by over 100 Japanese industrial equipment OEMs, achieving more than 800 prototypes and mass production projects across industrial, consumer, and medical markets. Our international credibility is proven through key partnerships.
- Only company in Japan certified from TSMC as Value Chain Aggregator (VCA), a distinction held by only 8 companies worldwide.
- Certified from X-FAB as a Premium Design Partner.
- Member of Arm Approved Design Partner Program.
This reliable network, supported by Foundry and OSAT (Outsourced Backend Contractors) worldwide, ensures safe and stable production capacity. TDC manages quality assurance, so mass production issues will not burden your company. We can handle mass production exclusively, allowing your company to have engineers focus on areas for growth and areas requiring necessary resources.
Core Focus: Industrial Equipment, Motor Control, and Edge AI
TDC focuses on three key technological approaches—energy efficiency, network communication, and healthcare—to provide customized ASIC solutions optimized for demanding industrial equipment.
1. Motor Control and Energy Conservation
We provide solutions for servo/encoder control, motor control, and FA (Factory Automation) equipment control. Our strength lies in co-creating optimal control solutions through our Turnkey Services, which integrate Power Semiconductors, Microcontrollers, and high-precision analog CMOS. To address customer challenges such as cost reduction and PCB size reduction, we provide optimal proposals including chip integration (e.g., MCU + driver or MCU + ADC).
2. Edge AI and Logic Speed Acceleration
Through our experience in designing RISC-V-based ASICs and AI accelerators, we support the development of MCUs and NPUs essential for edge AI. Our advanced logic services cover everything from RTL design to UVM verification. We also excel at converting designs from FPGA to ASIC, utilizing low-power design techniques to reduce power consumption by more than two-thirds.
3. Power Semiconductor Turnkey Service
Since 2023, TDC has provided Turnkey and Porting Services for Power Semiconductor. Through collaboration with domestic and international foundries and OSAT, we can offer various specialized processes, including SJ-MOSFET.
We provide comprehensive total solutions from design to testing, accommodating special needs such as small-volume production of non-standard specifications and end-of-life (EOL) support.
Summary
TDC leverages its proven track record of success in the industrial sector in Japan to deliver specification-focused partnerships essential for driving next-generation industrial and edge AI innovation. Please feel free to contact us anytime from consultation for specification reviews.
