Converged Bluetooth digital radio module
Leveraging the company’s experience in wireless audio design, Tuscany features an extensive and customisable feature set, including Bluetooth A2DP streaming with optional AAC support, customisable smart device apps (iOS and Android) for remote control, on-board Bluetooth antenna (detachable), a USB interface for smart device docking and field software updates, support for NFC Bluetooth pairing and best-in-class DAB/DAB+/FM radio. The firmware is pre-loaded with a variety of user interfaces for every product design. System designers can choose to use Tuscany in standalone devices or slave to another processor, using Frontier’s established communications interface. The module is supplied with a complete application design package and supported by Frontier’s world-class sales and support team to ensure the quickest time-to-market.
