The TX20D34VM2BAB is the latest addition to KOE’s range of Lite+ TFT displays and features a 20-pin LVDS data interface and comes in a 16:9 aspect ratio with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, a brightness of 600 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 600:1. For applications requiring higher brightness, the backlight light density of the module can be enhanced from 600 cd/m² to 1000 cd/m² by increasing the supply current to the backlight. However, as a result, the lifetime of the white LED backlight is reduced. At a brightness of 600 cd/m², the white LED backlight lifetime is 50,000 hours and at 1000 cd/m² it is 40,000 hours to half brightness.
The 8-inch display has mechanical outline dimensions of 189.0 mm (w) x 120.0 mm (h) x 7.5 mm (d) and is provided with an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. This enables the display not only to be used in various indoor and outdoor applications in facility management, security monitoring and office automation, but also in a broad range of industrial applications.
The 8 inch Lite+ TFT product line is rounded off with a further two model variants, part name TX20D33VM2BAA and part name TX20D34VM2BAA, with a brightness of 450 cd/m². Both models have 6-bit RGB data interface and a 6-bit LVDS data interface respectively. The white LED backlight lifetime is specified with 50,000 hours to half brightness for both of these models.
