CrossLink reference design for industrial vision designs
The reference design provides an easy-to-implement solution for connecting application processors (APs) with the image sensors for today’s machine vision applications.
Some industrial machine vision applications employ image sensors with a SubLVDS interface, which is incompatible with the MIPI CSI-2 D-PHY interface typically found on today’s APs. The SubLVDS to MIPI CSI-2 image sensor bridge reference design allows the quick and easy creation of a bridging solution to connect the AP to the SubLVDS image sensor.
The reference design is free and demonstrates the use of Lattice’s CrossLink modular IPs. Other available IPs include the Pixel-to-Byte Converter, SubLVDS Image Sensor Receiver and a CSI-2/DSI D-PHY Transmitter. Lattice also provides a GUI-based FPGA design and verification software environment, Diamond design software, to accelerate device development.
