With its closed toroidal core, the proven RN series is characterized by a high saturation resistance and excellent thermal behaviour. This is especially important for inrush currents and overload during the startup phase, which is very typical for some lighting systems. RN chokes for horizontal and vertical printed circuits can be delivered from stock. Their compact assembly facilitates the design of an integrated EMC filter with higher power density. The chokes are up to 250VAC UL and VDE-approved and are available standard for a current range between 0.3 and 10A.
