For these applications the company now offers DS200 and DS600 current sensors from Danisense, based on zero flux technology. The magnetic flux, induced by the primary current, is compensated by a secondary current, which is exactly proportional to the primary current. The DS200 converts currents up to 200A with a ratio of 1:500, the DS600 can be used up to 600A and has a ratio of 1:1,500. The intrinsic error of both types is less than 0.5 ppm of full scale. The current sensors work from DC up to frequencies of 100 kHz with an extremely flat frequency response. The ruggedised aluminium housing guarantees optimal shielding against external noise. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +85 °C. The output connection is realised with LEMO, BNC, or DSUB connectors. ZES Zimmer has an exclusive distribution agreement with Danisense for the German market.
