Current meters focus on hard to reach conductors
Ideal for measuring conductors of different shapes and sizes including fuse holders, the latest series of meters from Martindale Electric includes the CM95 for high resolution measurement down to 1 mA and the CM100 for measuring high current up to 3000 A.
Using advanced flexible current sensors, the most recent additions bring high performance to flexible measurement opening up new low current applications without having to break into the circuit. The lightweight sensor heads can accommodate conductors up to 16cm in diameter for the CM100 and can be threaded through small apertures. Unlike conventional current transformers there is no maximum overload to worry about.
The flex of the CM95 will accommodate conductors up to 8.5 cm and is 5.5 mm in diameter, making it flexible so that it can be passed easily around a conductor for simple attachment. With current ranges starting at 4 A and a resolution of 1 mA it is ideal for testing in crowded cabinets or other tight spots where conventional clamp meters will not fit.
Lightweight and simple to use, the CM95 and CM100 both feature a separate display module and come supplied with a 1.8 m lead to provide users with greater freedom when working in areas with restricted access. The meters also feature long battery life and a Min/Max function for monitoring of peak loads. A display backlight enables easy viewing where ambient lighting is poor.
The robust design of the CM100 and CM95 have a BS EN61010-1 CAT IV 600V safety rating suitable for supply side applications.
Complete with alkaline batteries and full instructions, the latest range of flexible current meters from Martindale Electric also come with a two-year warranty as standard.
