Tropic Square sro (Prague, Czech Republic) will be showing its Tropic01 secure element chip at the Embedded World exhibition.

Tropic Square is a fabless chip company founded in 2020. The company’s pilot project, Tropic01, is a transparent and auditable secure element that serves as an alternative to the existing closed secure elements. Their solution is designed for the security needs of IoT devices, crypto hardware wallets, M2M payments and hardware authenticators.

Tropic01 supplies and stores the cryptographic keys of an embedded system. It uses dedicated secure hardware engines to run cryptographic algorithms and has a set of sensors to detect and nullify tampering and other design practices to protect against a range of attacks.

Tropic Square has booth 5-371 in Hall 5. At Embedded World, Nuremberg, Germany from April 9 to 11.
