The NivuLink Micro can supply the power for data transmission and up to four sensors. Smart power management allows the device to have a battery life of up to 5 years dependant on measurement and transmission cycles. The unit can also be powered through an external power supply such as a solar panel. The device is rugged through its rugged aluminium die-cast housing with IP68 protection.

Customers can use the device with their own SIM or a SIM card by NIVUS. The NIVUS SIM provides free data transmission and cloud-based provision of data for the first 12 months. The user can adjust measurement and transmission cycles. For monitoring applications, NivuLink Micro features event-based archiving and transmission of data.
