The EM21xx PowerSoC family handles constant output currents of 20, 30 and 40A in the same QFN100 package footprint measuring 11 x 17 x 6.76 mm (360mm2).

The technology comes from the Enpirion division of Altera, which is part of Intel. As a resul the accuracy of under 0.5% and <1% ripple exceed FPGA static power requirements and <3% transient deviation exceeds FPGA dynamic power requirements.

The module also includes pre-programmed FPGA power-compliant configuration on internal memory, and can be conotrlled and monitored through a PMBus v1.2 digital communications link. Integrated telemetry monitors (VIN, VOUT, IOUT and temperature) with other system health monitoring.

The EM2120x01QI handles 20A from a 4.5V to 16V input and 0.7V to 5V output, while the EM2130x01QI handles 30A with the same input and 0.7V to 3.6V output. The EM2140P01QI handles 40A from the same input with an output range of 0.7V to 1.325V
