Delphi to present infotainment demo vehicle at Geneva Motor Show
The Delhi Sbarro F1for3 is a three-seat sports car in the style of formula one racing cars. It is equipped with the latest developments in infotainment and information technology. The most striking property is the ability of the system to unlimited downloading of TV streams and internet content to a smart terminal device such as a smartphone or a tablet computer inside the car. A black panel display with plenty of space for touch-sensitive and freely configurable functional surfaces facilitates the implementation of user-friendly controls for all infotainment and comfort functions. All antennae and connecting elements are integrated in a slim roof module.
According to Wilhelm Steger, General Manager of Delphi Germany who also oversees the business segment Infotainment and Driver Interface for Delphi Europe, the company collaborates with all leading automotive OEMs worldwide on joint "solutions for more efficient and more emotional cars". He added that intuitive control processes simplify the overall handling of vehicles.
The demo car can be seen at the Geneva Motor Show at the Delphi booth in hall 2, Stand number 2145.
