Denso to integrate air conditioning with ADAS

The company would first use facial image processing technology to analyse the driver’s facial expression and detect any sign of drowsiness.
The air conditioning system combined with the camera-based “driver status monitor” would play an integral part of the ADAS, sending air to the neck of the driver to gently keep the driver awake, in case the image processing algorithm would identify a certain degree of drowsiness.
