DesignSpark Toolbox app simplifies access to reference materials and tools
Developed in conjunction with Marcus Roskosch, the creator of a range of highly successful apps for engineers, DesignSpark Toolbox replaces the RS Toolbox app, which was originally launched five years ago.
DesignSpark Toolbox provides engineering calculators, converters and lookup tables, which include filter frequency calculators, a 555 timer configurator, calculators for a variety of voltage regulators and op-amps, and essential tools such as numbering systems converters, an Ohm’s Law calculator, and lookup tables for battery types and sizes. The app is available in 17 different languages, and will also allow users to gain access to Designspark’s community features, with contributed articles and projects that cover many subjects, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Blockchain.
The app also features a ‘Make’ section, which provides an easy method to keep track of projects, with sections to store website links, images and technical documents. Access to the DesignSpark Marketplace will allow developers to sell their creations.
The app also aids design, BOM, procurement and stock keeping by incorporating product search, barcode scanning, reference materials, 3D models and more.
