Desktop analytics enables geo-located call trace analysis of WCDMA and LTE networks
This latest module processes call trace data from major infrastructure OEMs in native OSS format. It allows the analysis of coverage and quality KPIs and poor performance areas using geo-located call trace data plots. Heat maps are available for troubleshooting areas with weak coverage, pollution, overshooting sectors, cross feed, traffic localization and patterns, accessibility, retainability (drops) and handover issues. It further analyzes detailed call records, events and messages from every recorded subscriber call. Nemo WindCatcher then generates customizable reports for call trace data using its custom report module.
“Our new feature in Nemo WindCatcher allows customers to quickly troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance with readily available call trace data from the OSS. Nemo WindCatcher gives operators the flexibility of a single platform to look at call trace data with or without drive test data,” says Sher Nasir, Vice President Data Analytics at Anite’s Network Testing business.
Nemo WindCatcher is a desktop-based, vendor-neutral, multi-data drive test data post-processing tool. It supports a wide range of data inputs and all major data collection tools on the market. The geo-location functionality is already available in Anite’s enterprise level analytics platform Nemo Xynergy.
