The SafeTkit XC2000 is based on the PRO-SIL safety products from Infineon and is in an easy-to-configure and easy-to-use format. In addition to an evaluation board with the CIC61508 safety monitor chip, the kit comprises a software package with selftest libraries and development tools. A demo application with a typical configuration for selftests is also included which is continuously monitoring the system’s behavior. If the SafeTkit XC2000 is used in combination with the Tantino MCDS also processor internal operation can be monitored without interrupting the program. This provides a powerful plattform for the quick and efficient development of safety-critical applications.
