Any compact development system for RCP or simple hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) applications is facing constantly increasing requirements in terms of capability and versatility.

For this reason, dSPACE has further developed its tried-and-tested MicroLabBox and presents the MicroLabBox II as a new all-in-one development system for laboratories in research, education, and industry. The MicroLabBox II combines high calculation speed and versatility in a compact enclosure.

MicroLabBox II features a powerful quad-core processor that enables fast execution of sophisticated Simulink models. In addition, the it offers a freely programmable FPGA for even faster control loops or sophisticated and high-precision simulation models, for example, for the simulation of electric motors. Comprehensive I/O interfaces fulfill all requirements from developers who want to prototype algorithms. With the dSPACE ControlDesk experiment software, users can access model signals for visualization and measurement purposes and change model parameters.

MicroLabBox enables users to set up control, test, or measurement applications quickly and easily and implement individual concepts. More than 100 I/O channels of various types make the MicroLabBox II a versatile system that can be implemented not only in mechatronic research and development fields, but also for controller development for electric drives. Further fields of use are the development of power electronics, renewable energies, aerospace, robotics, or medical engineering. In addition to this, the MicroLabBox II can also be used as a simple and quickly deployable HIL system for ECU tests.
