DFM Ecosystem ensures PCB manufacturability
The ecosystem will reduce rework, shorten design cycles and accelerate new product introduction. Cadence DesignTrue DFM flags manufacturing rule violations during PCB layout with Allegro and OrCAD design tools. This brings the checking process to work in real-time, rather than after the layout is complete.
The nine PCB manufacturing partners are Bay Area Circuits, CircuitHub, Mass Design, Multek, OSH Park, Rocket EMS, Sierra Circuits, Tempo Automation and Würth Elektronik. The system uses web portals to ensure the latest DFM rules are followed. Customers can request DesignTrue DFM technology files to save time inputting the rules manually.
