Dialight brings LED lighting solutions to Brazil’s oil industry

Dialight will also add an assembly plant in Brazil in the second half of 2013, which will supply a complete product portfolio adapted to local industrial market requirements including INMETRO certified products for hazardous locations. The company expects to include local content to the fixtures manufactured in Brazil in order to provide an additional benefit to companies that need to comply with related local regulations.

Dialight Brasil’s main market focus is the booming oil and gas industry in the largest South American country. The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported Brazil as the ninth largest oil producing country in 2010, producing approximately one-third of total oil supply in Central and South America. In this industry specific lighting solutions for hazardous locations are seeing huge and steeply rising demand.
